"It makes me happy and I would like to think that they would be happy for me," Stage Wright President and actress Jennifer Klebba said about acting and her parents who passed away. Klebba began acting for Stage Wright in Spring 2006 as one of the Kit Kat girls in Cabaret. She became President in Fall 2006 and is set to star in the upcoming show Crimes Of The Heart this November.

Wright Times: Who is the character you play in Crimes of the Heart?

Jennifer Klebba: Lenny McGrath.

WT: How long have you been attending Wright College?

JK: I started here; in summer 2005, taking few classes but for the last couple of semesters I have been full time.

WT: How are you similar with the character?

JK: Generally similarities. The character I am playing is 30 and I am a bit past 30. She tends to make everyone happy, as I am in Stage Wright taking care of things. Lenny McGrath ended up taking care of her grandfather, and I took care of my mother.

WT: How long have you been involved with Stage Wright?

JK: I started acting in Stage Wright in Spring 2006, playing Helga, one of the Kit Kat girls in Cabaret, and I became president in Fall 2006.

WT: What made you join Stage Wright?

JK: I always acted in school plays and over 10 years ago when I finished high school; I went to Columbia College, taking acting classes. I dropped out but I came back to school.

WT: What is your duty as Stage Wright President?

JK: Funding, what members need to do, advertising, and general club duties like organizing our Halloween Bake sale on October 29.

WT: Your next play is Crimes of the Heart, what can you tell us about the play?

JK: It is a dark comedy. November 12-13 are the previews, and the Opening night is November 14. We want to encourage the next generation of performers. We hope to bring more students who are interested in arts and acting to our club. Here is affordable live theater without breaking your budget like downtown plays.

WT: Do you plan on transferring to a four-year university? And where?

JK: I would like to, but it depends on the financial aspect of it. Here in Chicago there are too many opportunities so it makes sense to stick around here.

WT: When you're not at school, what do you do during your free time?
